Documentaries are not seen as part of mainstream media in this neck of the woods; we rarely see documentaries on significant political developments in the country. One such was the crowdfunded documentary An Insignifcant Man (2016), by Khushboo Ranka and Vinay Shukla, which traced the political journey of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Now, Dr Munish Raizada, a Chicago-based medical specialist (neonatologist) who was an active participant in the India Against Corruption (IAC) movement in 2011 and a core member of the Aam Aadmi Party has made another documentary on the same party that shows how AAP betrayed its core principles after it rose to power.

Titled Transparency: Pardarshita, the new six-part documentary series is directed and produced by Raizada himself. Through this series, the doctor has tried to delve into the ticklish issue of political funding, an issue that led to the carnage of the trust of thousands of people and core volunteers of the party like him who had dreamt of a corruption-free India.

Talking about the documentary, Raizada said, "Transparency: Pardarshita gives an in-depth analysis of the functioning of the Aam Aadmi Party, whose genesis lies in the famous anti-corruption movement. The analysis is based on the narratives of various members of the political party along with political analysts and journalists who followed the developments closely."
