Sayali Sanjeev and Rishi Saxena gained popularity with the television serial Kahe Diya Pardes, a romantic drama where they played Gauri and Shiv. The pair was highly appreciated by the audience, because of which they were signed for the Marathi single ‘Lajira.’
In this song, Sayali and Saxena play a young couple, who gets married with a lot of fanfare in a small town of Maharashtra. The song follows the couple's journey from the wedding to their initial days as a married couple.
The two actors play simple characters, who lead an ordinary life, deriving pleasure from small things. Sayali and Saxena’s impressive chemistry enhances the visual appeal of this song.
As far as the vocals are concerned, neither of the artistes are lip-syncing as the song plays in the background. Along with impressive vocal qualities, one can also identify a simple romantic charm in the voices of Keval Walanj and Sneha Mahadik. A similar simplicity is also seen in Vipul Ghangale’s lyrics.
Walanj and Vikaas Vishwakarma’s music perfectly suits the rustic story of the couple. A fusion of some modern instruments, like the guitar, has been added to the beginning of the song.
