The countrywide lockdown to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has given many of us, including film personalities, time to do things that one could not do otherwise because of busy schedules. Actress Zareen Khan has used this period to start her own YouTube channel. Simply called Zareen Khan, the channel was launched yesterday.
“Zareen will be posting regular videos that will bring out different sides to her, ones that her fans and the general audience haven’t seen or known about till date," said a statement from her spokesperson. "This is just a way for Zareen to connect with her fans on a much more personal level.”
Khan said in a statement, “I had been planning to start my own YouTube channel for some time now. A lot of people have been messaging and asking me to get it done, but call me technologically challenged, it took time. Now, I have finally launched it so that makes me happy.”
In the first video released yesterday, Khan said her channel will feature videos on travel, fitness, cooking, make-up and fashion.
Apart from Hindi, Khan has been working in Punjabi films. Her next Hindi film ready for release is Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele (2020), where she is cast opposite Anshuman Jha.
