Actress Shreya Dhanwanthary is all set to make her directorial debut with a mini-series called A Viral Wedding: Made In Lockdown. Dhanwanthary, who made her Hindi film debut last year with Why Cheat India (2019) opposite Emraan Hashmi, has created the series along with Pratha Narang. As the tagline indicates, the series has been created during the ongoing lockdown.

Announcing the series on Twitter, the actress shared the poster and wrote, “’Unprecedented’ doesn’t even begin to cover what is happening right now. This micro-series. The first of its kind (we hope) has been created, shot, edited and put together entirely during this lockdown. This is for all of you. At home. From our homes. Coming soon.”

In another post Dhanwanthary shared the credits of the entire team behind the series.

Going by the poster, The Viral Wedding seems to be about two girls and three guys, with Dhanwanthary playing the lead character.

Just earlier this week, Amitabh Bachchan and a number of other famous names from the Indian film industry, made a short film called Family, shot from their respective houses. The aim of the film was to encourage people to stay at home during the lockdown.

Dhanwanthary was last seen in the Hindi web-series, The Family Man, where she played the character of Zoya. Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the web-series featured Manoj Bajpayee in the lead.
