Shonali Bose's feature on the life of late Aisha Chaudhary, The Sky Is Pink, kicked off its promotions with the first poster for the film. Featuring Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf, the film's trailer is due to be released tomorrow.
Based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, a young Indian author and motivational speaker, who was afflicted with an immune deficiency disorder at the age of six, the film will also be the last of Zaira Wasim's career. The Dangal (2016) actress made a shocking revelation in June earlier this year, of leaving the film industry as she felt that 'her relationship with her religion was threatened.'
However, the actress takes the foreground as the young Aisha, as she runs ahead of her parents, played by Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra, in the poster.
With its lush green background, the poster offers a portrait of a very happy family running in joy, unaware of the tragedy that awaits them.
