The Family Man trailer: Manoj Bajpayee aims for work-life balance in this intriguing spy thriller

Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee, is a mild-mannered government employee. Or so his family thinks.

The truth is that Srikant is a senior analyst at a government organization that prevents terror attacks. The weight of the nation's security rests, almost literally, on the shoulders of Srikant and his team. But Srikant continues the pretence of being a regular ‘family guy’.

Created, directed and produced by Raj Nidimouru and Krishna DK, the Amazon Original series has a slight touch of humour to lighten the heavy issues that it addresses. The plot of The Family Man also incorporates a few real-life incidents.

Bajpayee is the perfect man to lead the series as he aims to maintain the secrecy of his job and take care of his wife and children while on assignment. The show also stars Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Neeraj Madhav, Sharad Kelkar, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Gul Panag and Dalip Tahil.

The Family Man will begin streaming on 20 September on Amazon Prime Video. Watch the trailer below.
