After flaunting his six-pack physique as sprinter Milkha Singh in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), Farhan Akhtar is back as an athlete in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Toofan (2020). The first look poster of the film features the actor, looking impressive as a boxer, throwing air punches as he practices for his next bout.

The poster features a ripped Akhtar practicing his shadow boxing moves in a dim-lit ring. The actor has been preparing for the role over the last six months. He had also posted an earlier picture from his practice bouts in the ring.
Unlike Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar's earlier collaboration, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Toofan will be a fictional story revolving around the life of a boxer.
The film, also featuring Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal, is due to released on 2 October 2020.
