After Wedding Cha Shinema, Dr Saleel Kulkarni brings Ekda Kaay Jhale...

Music composer Dr Saleel Kulkarni turned filmmaker with Wedding Cha Shinema (2019), which was released earlier this year. He has now announced his next project, Ekda Kaay Jhale....

Like for his first film, Kulkarni has written this script as well and will also compose the music for the movie. The news was shared by the makers in an official statement. 

The cast of the film has been kept under wraps. But the makers released a poster which has the silhouette of a man with a kid surrounded by various creatures. Ekda Kaay Jhale translates to 'Once Upon A Time’. This coupled with the poster suggests the film could be about an older person narrating a tale to his son or grandson.

Produced by Gajavadana Productions and Showbox Productions, the film will be released in the summer of 2020, in time for the school summer vacation.

Wedding Cha Shinema received acclaim when it was released earlier this year. The film starred Mukta Barve, Shivraj Waichal, Rucha Inamdar, Shivaji Satam, Alka Kubal, Sunil Barve, Bhau Kadam and Ashwini Kalsekar.
