Sanjay Dutt has taken his Prassthanam (2019) co-star Satyajeet Dubey under his wings. The young actor has signed a three-film contract with Sanjay Dutt Productions after his performance in the flop that was released last week.
Dubey made his debut in Hindi cinema with Always Kabhi Kabhi (2009) but had to wait for a decade for a major role. While the film sank without a trace at the box office, the actor's performance was reportedly noticed by producer Manyata Dutt, Sanjay Dutt's wife.
Speaking about the opportunity, Dubey said in a statement, "Sanju sir has treated me as one of his own. He and Manyata ma'am have been incredibly kind and generous, always showering me with great love and warmth. I have gone from being someone who was new to him when we began this journey and now I’m glad I’m close to Sanju sir and that itself is a great moment for a fan child like me. I am looking forward to another opportunity of working with them in near future. We are yet to lock the project but it’s in the planning stage. It’s been surreal for me."
