The makers of Housefull 4 (2019) have revealed the first look posters and characters of its lead cast Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, and Pooja Hegde.

As we know, the film is the first reincarnation comedy in Hindi cinema. Hence, the cast will also be seen playing characters based in the year 1419 and the modern era.

Akshay Kumar plays a bald character called Bala [shades of Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming Bala] in the previous era and a rich Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Harry in the current era. Deshmukh plays a dance teacher with elegance in the old era called Bangdu Maharaj, and the character Roy in 2019.

Sanon plays the character of the princess Madhu in 1419. Her character from today’s era is called Kriti.

Deol is playing Angaraj Dharamputra. There is a pun in his second name indicating that he is the son of the legendary actor Dharmendra. He plays a barber Max in the other, modern avatar.

Like Sanon, Pooja Hegde's character is also known with her first name in the film for the present time. She plays Rajkumari Mala in 1419.

Similarly, Kriti Kharbanda plays Rajkumari Meena and Neha in the old and new eras respectively. Her character in 1419 appears mysterious due to the knife she is holding.

We always knew Housefull 4 will be a madcap comedy and these posters are further proof of the same. Going by the looks of the characters in 1419, it seems a lot effort has been spent in creating the 600-year-old era.

The film is directed by Farhad Samji. He took over as the director as Sajid Khan was dropped from the film after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment.

Housefull 4 will be releasing on Diwali on 24 October. The film will be clashing with the Rajkummar Rao-starrer Made In China.
