At the closing ceremony of the 14th Marathi Film Appreciation Course held by the National Film Archives of India (NFAI) in Pune, actress Tanuja presented the archives with a collection of rare pictures from her personal collection. The actress, who was celebrating her 75th birthday on 23 September, also presented the archives with a rare poster of her debut film, Chhabili (1960), directed by mother Shobhana Samarth.

Tanuja was invited as a guest of honour at the closing ceremony of the week-long course in Marathi film appreciation held between 19 and 24 September. She was accompanied by her daughter and actress, Tanisha Mukerji.
Marking the celebration of her 75th birthday, the event also saw a screening of the veteran actress' film, Pirtruroon (2013), The director of the film, Nitish Bhardwaj, was also present on the occassion.
