Salman Khan stunned film fans across India a month ago when he announced that he has walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah. But he also promised that he will be coming with some other film on next Eid.
It seems that film is going to be Prabhudeva’s Radhe. As per a report on the portal BollywoodHungama, the actor is going to finish the film in time to release on Eid.
The report quotes a source saying, “Radhe is indeed Salman Khan’s next after Dabangg 3 and it will release on Eid 2020. Dabangg 3 releases on 20 December and Salman will shoot few portions of Radhe before the former’s release. It is directed by Prabhudheva, who incidentally, is also helming Dabangg 3. He’s in a race against time and simultaneously handling the shoot and post-production of Dabangg 3 along with the pre-production of Radhe.”
The source also added that Radhe is adapted from a Korean film. Khan’s last film Bharat (2019) was also an adaptation of a Korean film, Ode To My Father (2014).
This is the third time that Khan will be playing a character called Radhe after Tere Naam (2004) and Wanted (2009). The source added that his character in Radhe will have shades of his characters in the earlier two films where he was named such.
If all goes well and Radhe does release on Eid 2020, it will clash with the Akshay Kumar-starrer Laxmmi Bomb (2020).
