Earlier this month, Rajkummar Rao, Priyanka Chopra and newcomer Adarsh Gourav were named as the cast for Ramin Bahrani's adaptation of Aravind Adiga's novel, The White Tiger. It seems the Netflix adaptation is moving full steam ahead as the director and main cast got together for a table read in preparation for their film.

Rao shared a photograph of himself with Chopra and another of the cast with filmmaker Bahrani. He wrote, "Can't wait to start The White Tiger with these supremely talented people.

The Netflix film, in association with producer Mukul Deora, is based on Adiga's novel of a young village boy becomes a successful entrepreneur via unsavoury methods.

From the looks of the director and cast meeting up for a table read, it seems that filming will begin soon in India. This is the first time that Chopra and Rao will be seen onscreen together. Chopra is also part of the project as executive producer.
