Known for films Saat Pake Bandha (2009), Bolo Na Tumi Amar (2010), Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo (2010) and many other popular commercial films, Sujit Mondal is all set to direct his upcoming venture, featuring Yash Dasgupta and Priyanka Sarkar in the lead. The film, yet to have a title, is going to be the first film of the duo.

The film will attempt to project love as a timeless emotion along with some tragic twists. It will explore the course of a love at first sight in childhood, as the lovers grow into adults and face the harsh realities.

In the film, Arjun (Dasgupta) makes a promise to himself to be with the love of his life when he first sets his eyes on Hiya (Sarkar), at a tender age. With the passing of time, they get separated in a tragic turn of events. However, destiny unites them in the most challenging circumstances, while they try to survive the test of time with deep surrender to each other.

While releasing an official statement regarding the plot, the makers created intrigue, stating, "Does love really cause pain or it’s the cure of any pain? Can love and belief change everything and can create an unbelievable, miraculous unique, endless and timeless love story?"

Can love and belief turn impossible into possible and can bring two lovers together from two different worlds and can unite them forever where even death can’t separate them? Can a promise of love win over life and death and can change the course of nature?" the press release continued.

It was also added that at the end of the film, Hiya’s love becomes the cure for Arjun’s pain, and his love becomes her life.

The story has been written by Sweta Bharadwaj and Manish Sharma. Jeet Gannguli will score the music of the film.
