It's a treat to watch both the stars show off their undoubted dancing skills, but the song is not extraordinary.
War song ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff try to outperform each other

After watching the trailer of director Siddharth Anand’s War, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, no one was left in any doubt that the film is an out-and-out commercial saga targeted at the single-screen crowd.
Now, it is a must in such films to have a dance track where the main leads get a chance to let their hair down. ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ is that song in War.
The song is set on what looks like the steps of a temple. The screen is awash with colours used on religious occasions and festivals. And both Shroff and Hrithik strike the namaste pose while dancing.
However, don't let any of this fool you into thinking this is a spiritual or religious number. It is a party song where Hrithik and Shroff try to outperform each other. Both stars are known for their dancing skills, so it is a treat to see them shake a leg together.
But the ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ song itself is quite ordinary. Composer duo Vishal and Shekhar have come up with a strictly passable tune. Vishal Dadlani and Benny Dayal’s vocals are energetic. But as far as Kumaar’s lyrics, the less said the better. 'Jai Jai Shivshankar, Aaj mood hai bhayankar’? Really now?
War also stars Vaani Kapoor. The film is due to be released on 2 October. Watch the song below and let us know how bhayankar (fierce) is your desire to watch this film.
