Kiara Advani to join Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2?

Last month, Kartik Aaryan was named as the lead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2020), the sequel to the 2007 hit film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, directed by Priyadarshan. The film will likely see actress Kiara Advani, fresh off the success of Kabir Singh (2019), as the female lead.

According to a report in the daily Mumbai Mirror, Advani has landed the role in the sequel directed by Anees Bazmee. The original Hindi film, starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Paresh Rawal, was a remake of Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu (1993) by Fazil.

The horror-comedy, written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik, is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar. The film will go on the floor next month.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is due to be released on 31 July 2020.
