Once A Year trailer: A couple's journey is explored in novel fashion in this Marathi rom com

We have seen various stories about modern couples in movies and, in recent times, web-series. But director Mandar Kurundkar’s Once A Year stands out because of its different and creative manner of narration. The web-series stars filmmaker Nipun Dharmadhikari and Mrinmayee Godbole.
This is the story of Arihant [Dharmadhikari] and Raavi [Godbole]. Both are very different individuals but they find common ground and develop a friendship which eventually blossoms into love. The story follows the set template of things souring later on.
But what is novel here is the mode of narration. As the title suggests, viewers will be shown one day of the couple's life in a year for six years in six episodes. This is how their characters will be developed from the ages of 18 to 24 and the story will be taken forward.
Apart from the idea being novel, the content appears promising. The situations and conversations involving the couple are real and at the same time interesting. Dharmadhikari and Godbole look real as an odd couple and their acts appear convincing too.
