While Sayan Mitra’s voice perfectly awakens the nostalgic chords of childhood, the animated visuals of Goyenda Junior's title track present a smart and peppy introduction to the world of Vikram (Rwitobroto Mukherjee), a sharp, intelligent yet shy boy, who turns into a detective while helping a senior official of the crime branch, Sanjay (Santilal Mukherjee) in a murder case in Mainak Bhaumik’s upcoming teenage detective film.

Written and composed by Prasen, the song is also accompanied by certain conversations between Sanjay and Vikram that offer glimpses into the crime they're investigating as well as Vikram’s journey of turning into a detective.

The song is an ode to the courage and indomitable spirit of Vikram, who stays firm on his intuitions regarding the crime. Along with the glimpses from the film, the neon-coloured animated visuals prepare the audience with an exciting adventure to the world of crime and clues.

Though Prasen’s composition lacks originality, it’s Mitra’s voice and his long association with Bangla band, that lends a youthful pulse to the song.

In the film, Sanjay is in charge of solving a murder, which is committed in the garb of a natural death. Vikram, a voracious crime thriller reader, gets appointed by his crush Tuki (Anusha Viswanathan)’s overprotective father Sanjay, so that he can lend fresh perspective to the crime.

At the end of the song, we see Vikram asking for a designation for him as a reward for solving the crime from Sanjay and latter asks him whether he likes the title Goyenda Junior.

It is also great to see the father-son duo of Santilal and Rwitobroto in smart avatars, in a relationship of guide and confidante.

Goyenda Junior is slated for release on 20 September.
