Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh start shooting for Baaghi 3

The Tiger Shroff-starrer Baaghi 3 (2019) went on floors yesterday. As you can guess from the title, it’s the third film in the series after Baaghi (2016) and Baaghi 2 (2018). The first film was a runaway hit, while the second turned out to be a blockbuster. 

Hence, there is little surprise that the makers decided to make the third film in the franchise. But what was surprising was that producer Sajid Nadiadwala announced Baaghi 3 even before Baaghi 2 released, which doesn’t happen often in Hindi cinema. 

The producer’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson made the announcement of the commencement of the shoot on its official Twitter page along with few pictures from the sets. Along with Tiger, one can see the lead actress Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, the new addition to the cast along with director Ahmed Khan, Nadiadwala, writer Farhad Samji and others. 

Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda were the new additions to Baaghi 2 but they aren’t a part of the third movie. Kapoor returns to the franchise after the first film as Baaghi 2 featured Disha Patani opposite Shroff. 

Baaghi was helmed by Sabbir Khan but Ahmed Khan has taken over the franchise from the second film onwards. The action film is due to be released on 6 March 2020.
