Understandably, the makers released the poster of the film on the unluckiest day of the year, believed by many to be a day of horrors.

The poster features Kaushal trapped within the ship, sinking underwater. The poster also partly reveals the image of the ghost who is forcing Kaushal down to the depths. Even as he fights to reach out for a rope, the actor seems to be fighting to make it to the surface.
The poster reflects the storyline of the film which revolves around a ghosthunter investigating an abandoned and haunted ship.
Directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, the film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions along with filmmaker Shashank Khaitan.
Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, set to release on 15 November, will also feature Bhumi Pednekar in a yet unrevealed role.
