At the end of the song ‘Ishq Teri Zaat Hai Kya’ from P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar, Sanjay Mishra is heard saying sarcastically, “There should be another revolution in India — Love and lovers, quit India”.
We have reached 2019, but we can still hear or read about the ‘honour’ killing of a couple because of religious or caste differences. In other words, a feeling as natural as love isn’t allowed to exist in India if it happens outside certain man-made boundaries.
This is the subject of P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar. The song is a sarcastic yet moving take on how love is divided in sections even today. You can feel the difference between mere lyrics and poetry after listening to the words of Ripul Sharma.
Sharma also happens to be the music composer and singer of the number. One would have expected such a number to have soft music, but he pleasantly surprises us with peppy beats. Sharma’s singing also does justice to his work in the other two departments.
As far as the visuals are concerned, the lead artistes Bhavesh Kumar and Anuja Jha seem to be a little raw. The song takes place during their escape, while the bad guys played by Kumud Mishra and Jimmy Sheirgill are hell-bent on stopping them. Well-known Marathi actor Girish Kulkarni is also seen as someone who helps the couple.
P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar will be released on 18 October. Watch the song below and let us know how keen you are to watch this film.
