Ayushmann Khurrana is all set for his second release of the year in the form of Dream Girl on Friday 13 September. But the actor has already started shooting for his next project, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, today, three days before Dream Girl hits the theatres.

The news was shared by the film’s producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series on his official Twitter handle. He also shared pictures of the clapboard with Ganpati idols since Ganeshotsav is currently on in Maharashtra. Bhushan Kumar is jointly producing the film with Aanand L Rai’s banner Colour Yellow Productions.

The film is the second in the series. The first one, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), which had Bhumi Pednekar opposite Khurrana, dealt with a man suffering from erectile dysfunction. It was the official remake of the Tamil movie Kalyana Samayal Saadham (2013). Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan deals with a gay love story between Khurrana and some other actor.

The film will see Khurrana reuniting with Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao. They were all part of last year’s superhit Badhaai Ho where Gupta and Rao played Khurrana’s parents.

Directed by the writer of the first film Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan was earlier supposed to be released in Valentine’s week next year. But Bhushan Kumar said in his tweet that the film will now be released on 13 March 2020.

Khurrana had shared a creative and witty video to announce the film earlier this year.
