Salman Khan introduces Sudeep as the villain of Dabangg 3 in new poster

Salman Khan unveiled the antagonist for his upcoming film, Dabanng 3, on Tuesday, 8 October. The actor revealed that Kannada actor, Sudeep, will take on the role of Balli in the third film of the franchise.

Khan shared the image of Sudeep staring into the horizon, even as an inferno bursts out behind him. The poster came with Khan's tagline saying 'Villain jitna bada ho, usse bhidne mein utna hi mazaa aata hai [The bigger the villain is, the more fun it is to fight him]'. 

Sudeep was more recently part of the period ensemble featuring Chiranjeevi, Syeraa Narasimha Reddy (2019). Sudeep also featured alongside Suniel Shetty in the multi-lingual Pehlwaan (2019) which released in September. 

Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudeva, and will release on 20 December 2019.
