Box office: Housefull 4 continues its good run, reaches Rs109 crore in five days

The negative reviews and word-of-mouth seem to be having hardly any effect on director Farhad Samji’s Housefull 4 (2019). The film has crossed the Rs100 crore nett mark easily on the fifth day of its release, as per figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
The Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol-starrer made a good Rs24 crore nett yesterday. The film had the best day on Monday, which was the big Diwali holiday, when it made Rs34.25 crore nett. The film didn’t score big before Monday as it was the pre-Diwali period.
The grand total of Housefull 4 currently stands at Rs109 crore nett. As per our trade sources, the film is made at a cost of Rs160-170 crore nett. It looks likely that the film will cross this number during its second weekend.
The Rajkummar Rao-starrer Made In China (2019) had a big drop yesterday as it could make only Rs1.75 crore nett. Directed by Mikhil Musale, the film has so far made only Rs8.25 crore nett against its budget around Rs30 crore.
Saand Ki Aankh (2019), on the other hand, had a steady day yesterday. The film starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar made Rs3 crore nett taking its overall total to Rs8.75 crore nett. This film is also made at a cost of around Rs30 crore.
