Drive song ‘Makhna’: Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez have a ball in Israel

There is no info on the subject or storyline of director Tarun Mansukhani’s Drive as the film’s trailer isn’t out yet. The first song of the film ‘Makhna’ gives some insight about the characters and the mood of the film. 

The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez. But the song shows a group of people who form the supporting cast, including Vikramjeet Virk and Sapna Pabbi. 

‘Makhna’ is about their trip to Israel. It shows them enjoying, partying and taking part in adventure water sports without a care in the world. Singh Rajput and Fernandez are looking glamorous and they make a good pair. At times it does feel as if all the characters are trying too hard to show that they are having a great time. 

Singer Asees Kaur owns the song 'Makhna'. She has brought in a lot of feeling while reciting the poetry. Yasser Desai, who is a supporting singer here, also shows his talent in the number.

Ozil Dalal and Tanishk Bagchi’s lyrics aren’t contemporary but their desi poetry gels well with the modern visuals of the song. Bagchi’s music is passable and, for a change, he has composed an original song.
