Trisha to reunite with Chiranjeevi after a decade for Chiru 152

If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, Trisha is most likely to be paired with megastar Chiranjeevi in his upcoming Telugu film, currently dubbed Chiru 152.
Trisha and Chiranjeevi had previously worked together in AR Murugadoss's Stalin (2006). If she comes on board this project, it’ll be their reunion after 13 years.
Trisha was last seen in Telugu horror-comedy Nayaki in 2016. If she’s signed for this project, it’d mark her comeback to the industry after a hiatus.
The film will be directed by Koratala Siva and it will mark his first time collaboration with Chiranjeevi. The project was officially launched earlier this month.
The launch ceremony was attended by Chiranjeevi’s mother Anjana Devi, son Ram Charan and wife Surekha among others.
The genre of the project is yet unknown; however, reliable sources have confirmed that it’ll be an action drama. Siva is best known for directing blockbuster films such as Mirchi (2013), Srimanthudu (2015) and Bharat Ane Nenu (2018).
The film, which is expected to go on the floors next month, will have cinematography by Tirru while Sreekar Prasad will take care of editing. Suresh Selvarajan will handle the production design.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is basking in the success of his latest release Syeraa Narasimha Reddy, which has grossed over Rs200 crore worldwide in its opening weekend.
Directed by Surender Reddy, Syeraa Narasimha Reddy (2019) is the story of Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and his fight against the British for independent India.
The film, produced by Ram Charan on a budget of Rs275 crore, also stars Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty and Nayanthara
