The Goa festival has arranged a star-studded lineup of Indian cinema to celebrate its golden jubilee.
IFFI 2019: Anil Kapoor, Rohit Shetty, Meghna Gulzar to be part of panels at 50th edition

Next month, the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa will kick off its golden jubilee celebrations. For its 50th edition, the festival has lined up a whole host of names for some interesting masterclass and conversations relating to the Indian film industry.
Filmmakers Priyadarshan, who is head of the feature film jury, and Madhur Bhandarkar will dicuss their processes on set. Farah Khan, Sabu Cyril and Biswadeep Chatterjee are expected to talk about the fields of choreography, production design and sound design respectively.
Additionally, filmmakers like Rohit Shetty, Meghna Gulzar, and actresses Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah Bhatia, along with other writers, editors, casting directors and VFX artistes will also be in conversation at the Goa festival.
Actor Anil Kapoor and writer-director Anees Bazmee will also participate at the festival. The duo are expected to speak about the long association of films like No Entry (2005), Welcome (2007), Welcome Back (2015), Mubarakan (2017) and the upcoming Pagalpanti (2019).
Film critic Derek Malcolm and Marco Muller, artistic director of Pingyao Film Festival, have been invited to speak about Indian cinema's evolution in the last 50 years. The duo are going to be a part of an interactive session with filmmakers Shaji Karun and Subhash Ghai.
