Ujda Chaman song 'Twinkle Twinkle': Love and hope blossoms in Sunny Singh's oblivious heart

Despite the ongoing tiff with the makers of Bala, Ujda Chaman seems to have a fairly entertaining soundtrack backing up its story. The latest song 'Twinkle Twinkle' is an endearing Punjabi ditty that brightens up the smile of Sunny Singh's bald hero and the listeners. Composed by Gourov-Roshin, the song is sung by Tochi Raina.
The visuals of the song capture the early hopes of a blossoming romance between Singh's Chaman Kohli and Karishma Sharma's Aaina. With Aaina ignoring the bald obvious truth and treating him as a friend, Kohli entertains hopes of a romance. From subtlely showing off to gazers on the street and in cafeterias to trying to flirt with Aaina, Kohli does everything that he was otherwise insecure and envious of.
The composition from Gourov-Roshin captures this elated emotion through a lovely Punjabi rhythm that fits in with Kohli's persona. The sight of a professor dancing an awkward jig in the classroom is quite funny. The song flows through Tochi Raina's vocals that stand out among the thumping percussion beats. The lyrics by Devshi Khanduri are a little naive, and are perfect for the naive romance of Kohli's story.
Ujda Chaman is directed by Abhishek Pathak, and is set to release in theatres on 8 November. Watch the song below, and let us know if you are keen to watch the film
