House Arrest (2019), starring Ali Fazal and Shriya Pilgaonkar, will make its debut on Netflix on 15 November. The two leads, who were part of the web-series Mirzapur on Amazon Prime Video, will star in the upcoming feature co-directed by Samit Basu and Shashanka Ghosh.

The film revolves around a man, played by Ali Fazal, who voluntarily puts himself under house arrest to avoid the world outside. The teaser announcement for the film saw Ali Fazal and Pilgaonkar hunting for a house in Mumbai. When a broker describes the features of a house which would make it unattractive to any other buyer, Ali Fazal looks more than keen to buy it.

The film will also see Jim Sarbh and Barkha Singh in key roles.

In an earlier statement, Ali Fazal had said, "House Arrest is a fantastic script. It’s witty, very fresh, and for me, selfishly, the character is very, very arched and layered. So it was a fun time on sets to play this part. Even though it’s a comedy, it’s complex and I got to go on set everyday and do something new and fresh even though it was all at one place."
