One of Ahire's next films titled Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande is ready for release next month.

Sonali Kulkarni’s next Marathi film is with well-known filmmaker Gajendra Ahire. The yet untitled film will be his 53rd project.
Kulkarni shared the news on her official Twitter page. She posted a picture with Ahire and wrote, “Lovely meeting dear Gajendra Ahire on the sets of his 53rd film. way to go boss!.”

The name of the film and the rest of the details aren’t known yet. This will be Kulkarni’s next after last year’s Madhuri (2018). Directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi, the film was produced by known Hindi film actress Urmila Matondkar.
This is not the first time that Ahire and Kulkarni are working together. Before this film, they have collaborated on movies like Ek Krantiveer: Vasudev Balwant Phadke (2007) and Gulmohar (2009).
As mentioned in Kulkarni’s tweet, the aforementioned film will be the number 53 for Ahire. The director is known for completing his films in a short duration. He has achieved the target of 53 films despite beginning in 2003.
As Ahire is busy shooting this film, his upcoming film Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande is ready for release next month. Starring Sai Tamhankar in the lead, the film will be released on 22 November.
