It looks like the Patni, Patni and Woh of Mudassar aziz's upcoming remake of the 1978 comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh have finally made an appearance. The 2019 film features Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey taking on the title roles. The first look posters of their characters were released by the makers today.

While Kartik Aaryan has already caught attention for sporting a thin moustache to get into the role of the working middle-class man, Chintu Tyagi, his first look adds little to the intrigue.

In his checkered shirt and bike, the actor looks the part. Although his winking pose does capture the sense of mischievousness that underlines his true nature.

The tagline of 'Kanpur ka sabse adarshwadi pati [Kanpur's most idealistic husband]' seems to be a sarcastic remark to that very nature.

The second poster belongs to Bhumi Pednekar, who looks the part of the confident woman who runs the world for Chintu Tyagi. The actress seems to be playing a teacher, with the 12th standard Physics book in her hand imply that she won't be playing the dutiful housewife that was present in the original film.

As the tagline suggests, Vedika Tripathi (Pednekar) is a little 'high maintenance' when it comes to emotions.

That emotion will go through quite the turbulence because of Ananya Panday's 'Woh'. The actress plays the more sophisticated, high fashionista who charms her way into Chintu Tyagi's world.

This is Panday's first film with Kartik Aryan or Bhumi Pednekar, and her second film overall. The poster offers a glimpse into her nature with the taglines 'Badnaam (Notorious)' hanging ominously on the store in the background.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh will be backed by T-Series, and BR Studios. The film is set to release in theatres on 6 December.
