Seema Pahwa's directorial debut, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, to be released on 22 November

Actress Seema Pahwa is set to make her directorial debut with Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi. The film is also part of the official selection for the India Gold section at the 21st MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

The first poster for the film features Naseeruddin Shah, playing Ramprasad, who is represented by a portrait while the rest of the family gathers around him for the ceremony. Konkona Sensharma, Vikrant Massey and Vinay Pathak are also among the cast. 

The film has been produced by Manish Mundra's Drishyam Films, and will be released in theatres on 22 November.

 Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi marks actress Seema Pahwa's debut as a director. While the actress has been prominent on stage and in films, this is her first venture as a director on the big screen.

The film has been written by Darab Farooqui, who also wrote Dedh Ishqiya (2014).
