Commando 3 song 'Tera Baap Aaya': Vidyut Jammwal raps out a warning to his enemies

A change from the recent barrage of remixes is always welcome, but a rap song to profile the lead actor and the action seems kind of passé. Sung by Farhad Bhiwandiwala, the song is composed by Vikram Montrose and features the lead cast of Vidyut Jammwal, Angira Dhar, Adah Sharma, and Gulshan Devaiah.
The song offers the background to the operation that the trio of Jammwal-Sharma-Dhar set out on. While Devaiah's role is unclear, his moments of menace flicker on-screen ominously. The sequences of him choking someone to death is definitely a sign of villainy. Apart from these clips, there is little in the song that offers any clue as to the plot of the film or the back story of the characters.
The rap by Farhad Bhiwandiwala is good, and has a flow, but lacks the firepower and content. While it flows nicely, the song has little to convey in terms of lyrics. With simple, bordering on simplistic thoughts, the song lacks true rap feels. Despite that, Vikram Montrose layers the composition well, with effective movements to make it worth a listen.
Commando 3 is directed by Aditya Datt, and is expected to release later this year. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
