The story of director Gajendra Ahire’s Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande (2019) revolves around two single parents who fall in love and decide to marry. As they both are a raising a young boy, it becomes necessary that they should bond well.
To make sure they all get along, the lead couple, played by Sai Tamhankar and Rajesh Shringarpure, go on a trip with their kids. The song ‘Abhalyachya’ arrives when the four of them are having a gala time while sightseeing in Ladakh and its surrounding areas.
It’s a fast-paced song that goes perfectly with the visuals of the four characters moving around in a fast vehicle. The energy and the high pitch tempo needed someone like Sunidhi Chauhan to pull it off. She manages that perfectly.
Composer Soumil and Siddharth’s music mostly contains the same tunes, but that goes with the nature of the song. Ahire’s lyrics are adventurous, which was the need in a high-octane travel song of this type.
Tamhankar and Shringarpure are cast opposite each other for the first time. They suit their respective characters. The film also stars Nikhil Ratnaparkhi. He plays Deshpande, the estranged husband of Tamhankar’s character. They have hardly shown him in the promotional material which looks like a deliberate move.
Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande will be releasing on November. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
