In Tamil Nadu, Bigil has dethroned Rajinikanth’s Petta (2019) to emerge as this year’s biggest grosser. It is now on its way to surpass Ajith’s Viswasam (2019), which approximately grossed around Rs140 crore in Tamil Nadu.
Directed by Atlee, Bigil features Vijay in dual roles and his fans loved seeing him in two diverse characters. He played an aged gangster and a coach of a football’s women team.
Meanwhile, Vijay is currently shooting for his next yet-untitled project in Delhi. The project is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is presently basking in the phenomenal success of Kaithi (2019).
Dubbed Thalapathy 64, the film will see Malavika Mohanan play the leading lady while Vijay Sethupathi essays the antagonist’s role.
