Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the remake of the psychological thriller, The Girl On The Train, will release in India on 8 May 2020. With Parineeti Chopra, Kirti Kulhari, Aditi Rao Hydari and Avinash Tiwary, the film is the official remake of Tate Taylor's 2016 thriller.
The actress shared more pictures of herself on the set of the thriller. While the looks or the appearances of the other characters have not yet been revealed, Chopra's pictures have shown her quite different to the cheery happy characters she often portrays. Bruised, and with a gun in her hand, the actress looks the part of a woman who finds herself involved in a mystery beyond her ken.
The Girl On The Train remake is based on the film by Tate Taylor, as well as the book by Paula Hawkins. The story follows the journey of a woman in London, who finds herself stepping into dangerous territory after her intrusion into a family's affairs goes too far.
The film is being directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, who also directed the Amitabh Bachchan starrer, T3en, as well as the recent Netflix web-series, The Bard Of Blood.
