Hina Khan wraps shoot for Vikram Bhatt’s Hacked, release set for 31 Jan 2020

Director Vikram Bhatt has wrapped up the shoot of his next thriller titled Hacked (2020). As the title suggests, the film revolves around the theme of cyber crime. Hina Khan, known for her stint on the reality television show Bigg Boss, has been cast in a lead role.

Hacked marks Khan's Hindi film debut. Apart from Bigg Boss, she was seen in other TV shows like Badi Door Se Aaye Hain, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She has also done a film titled Country Of Blind, a Indo-Hollywood production directed by Rahat Kazmi and yet to have a theatrical release.

Speaking about Hacked, Bhatt said in an official statement, “Hacked is about the perils of our online lives and talks about how in today’s time everything about everyone is just a click away. Nothing remains exclusive or private.” 

The makers added, "We are the sum of our Google history. What should happen if someone gets their hands on it? The film throws light on cyber crime and shows how putting out everything there can be dangerous."

Hacked will be released on 31 January 2020.
