Southern actress Nayanthara rang in her 34th birthday on Monday with boyfriend Vignesh Shivan in New York where the couple is currently holidaying.
Vignesh Shivan shared a few pictures from their holiday on instagram and wrote: “The sky and her smile — surreal. Bringing in her birthday in New York.” The pictures immediately went viral on social media.
Vignesh and Nayanthara also met producer Boney Kapoor and his daughter Khushi in New York. According to a picture shared by Vignesh, they all dined together.
Nayanthara, who was last seen on the big screen in Vijay’s Bigil (2019), is currently shooting for the Tamil thriller Netrikann, a remake of the South Korean thriller Blind.
Netrikann marks the maiden collaboration of Nayanthara and filmmaker Milind Rau, who had previously directed the Tamil-Telugu horror-thriller Aval aka Gruham (2017) featuring Siddharth and Andrea Jeremiah.
Nayanthara also has a project titled Mookuthi Amman with actor RJ Balaji.
Vignesh, on the other hand, recently completed shooting for an upcoming yet-untitled Tamil web-series for Netflix. Tipped to be an anthology drama on honour killings, the series will also feature segments directed by Vetrimaaran, Gautham Menon and Sudha Kongara.
In the portion directed by Vignesh Shivan, actresses Anjali and Kalki Koechlin have essayed pivotal roles.
Vignesh also has a project with Sivakarthikeyan in his kitty, but it is not known when the project will go on the floors.
