After months of hiding, and sleuth level photography, the makers of Laal Singh Chaddha have finally revealed Aamir Khan's look as the Punjabi Forrest Gump in the first poster of Advait Chandan's film.

While the actor is known for shapeshifting into different looks with every film, his appearance in this remake of Tom Hanks's Forrest Gump has created a buzz. A week ago, some pictures of the actor on the sets of Advait Chandan's film had been leaked. The new poster has Khan playing the jovial Punjabi to the tee.

The poster features a smiling Aamir Khan complete with his long beard and pink pagri. The look features Laal Singh travelling in a train, a sign of his ordinariness that precedes the story.

The more revealing part of the poster is the sweet box that Khan's character is holding. It is the setup to Forrest Gump's iconic line, "Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get:.

Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of the Oscar-winning Tom Hanks-starrer, and will feature Khan in the lead role. Directed by Advait Chandan, and produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan productions, the film is set to release on Christmas weekend in 2020.
