The Body teaser: Not just the corpse, even the trailer is missing

The makers of the latest Emraan Hashmi-starrer The Body (2019) are keeping the first glimpse of their film under wraps for just a little while longer. Today, the teaser (disguised as a trailer) of The Body revealed no actual footage from the film, instead hinted at the main plotline of the film - A missing body.

The film also stars Rishi Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala and south actress Vedhika, in her Hindi debut, in key parts. Inspired by the Spanish film El Cuerpo (2012), the film, directed by Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, revolves around a body missing from a morgue. The key suspect in the murder, the husband, begins receiving messages from his dead wife soon after.
