With Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande, director Gajendra Ahire has ventured into a modern and urban story. Along with his directorial responsibilities, Ahire has written the songs for the film. ‘Rangaari’ is one of those songs which goes with the contemporary theme of the movie.

Ahire’s lyrics give us a fun number that also explains the character of the protagonist played by Sai Tamhankar. She is a single parent who falls in love with another single parent played by Rajesh Shringarpure.

Famous Hindi film singer Shreya Ghoshal has lent her voice to the song and rules over it with her melodious and energetic vocals. Composer duo Soumil and Siddharth’s music suits the song well. Though the song is set in a pub, they have included traditional drum sounds.

Scenes featuring Tamhankar, Shringarpure and their kids form a large part of the visuals, including some portions from the trailer. Tamhankar and Shringarpure form a good pair and also fit the characters of single parents.

The film also stars Nikhil Ratnaparkhi as Tamhankar’s ex-husband, Avinash Deshpande. The trailer and songs released so far haven’t revealed much about his character.

Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande will be released on 22 November. Watch the song below and let us know if you would like to watch the film.
