Pati Patni Aur Woh song 'Dheeme Dheeme': Neha Kakkar, Tony Kakkar speed up this dance track

The club track, composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Tony Kakkar, is yet another chartbuster.

Kartik Aaryan splits into two different versions of his character, Abhinav 'Chintu' Tyagi, for the first song, ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ of the Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) soundtrack.

In first half of the song, he dons black shades and a leather jacket to shake a leg on the dance floor with Ananya Panday’s Tapasya. In the second half, he’s romancing his wife, Vedika, played by Bhumi Pednekar in a completely different avatar.

The club track, composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Tony Kakkar, feels like another chartbuster. Tony is joined by Neha Kakkar who voices the female portions for both Panday and Pednekar. Neha adds her own spin to the song and is stronger than Tony’s vocals which have quite a generous amount of electronics.

The lyrics by Tony, Bagchi and Mellow D, are satisfactory especially since the title is repeated in the chorus, so that we don’t forget it somehow. The song is a faster remix of Tony’s own song of the same name.

It seems that the song picturisation has been taken literally as the portions as both Panday and Pednekar are filmed in several slow-motion shots to emphasize their point.

Mostly, the song aims to feature how Aaryan’s Chintu tries to portion off his two lives, one with his ‘girlfriend’ and another with his wife. ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ is a catchy recreation as it has been amped up electronically than the original and like most Tanishk Bagchi remixes, will find popularity amongst listeners.

Pati Patni Aur Woh, directed by Mudassar Aziz, goes up against Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat on 6 December. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
