66 Sadashiv trailer: Mohan Joshi shines as the argumentative man in Yogesh Deshpande’s film

The film sees Joshi play a character who argues at the drop of a hat, but at the same time is witty and humorous.

With actor-turned-director Hrishikesh Joshi’s Home Sweet Home (2018), veteran actor Mohan Joshi proved that he can carry a film on his shoulders as the main lead. He promises to do the same in director Yogesh Deshpande’s 66 Sadashiv, as suggested by the recently released trailer of the film.

The film sees Joshi play a character who argues at the drop of a hat, but at the same time is witty and humorous. It seems the actor has internalised his character traits well.

But the story of the film is not quite clear in the two-minute trailer. The film seems to be about Prabhakar Shrikhande (Joshi), who is a veteran professional photographer. He is known for his sharp criticism on just about anything. He goes on a mission to execute his ‘66th art’ [we are not told what it is], which gets him into trouble.

The film stars Vandana Gupte as Joshi’s wife, who looks to be in good form too.

Although the story is not clear, the trailer gives a good feeling about the film. This is mainly because of the humour.

66 Sadashiv is scheduled to be released on 10 May.
