Prabhu Deva to recreate his iconic moves from the song 'Muqabla' with Varun Dhawan for Street Dancer 3

Prabhu Deva might have a few moves to show, but the actor's old ones remain just as popular. The actor-director is set to recreate the iconic moves of the song 'Muqabla' from Kadhalan (1994) for Remo D'Souza's upcoming dance film, Street Dancer 3. 

Daily tabliod Mumbai Mirror quoted T-Series head, Bhushan Kumar, saying, "There's a situation in the film where we see Prabhu Deva showcase his dance moves, and I knew we needed to bring 'Muqabla' back. The audience will be blown away by the choreography and will love the new version as much as the old version." 

The composition will be done by Tanishk Bagchi, while the original was from AR Rahman. Bagchi has previously remixed Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Mere Rashke Kamar' for Baadshaho (2017), and Himesh Reshammiya's 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' for Hate Story IV (2018) and Viju Shah's 'Aankh Marey' for Simmba (2018). 

Initially, the song was planned for ABCD 3, which was later renamed into the current project. The shooting for the song has reportedly been completed in the Dubai schedule of the film. The actor will also be joined by Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the song. 

Street Dancer 3 (2020) is directed by Remo D'Souza and is set for release on the Republic Day weekend of 2020.
