The makers haven’t revealed yet who will play the younger version of Sharwanand in the remake. In the original, Aadithya Bhaskar, son of veteran Tamil actor MS Bhaskar, played the teenage version of Vijay Sethupathi.
C Premkumar, who had directed the original, has been retained to helm the remake. The film had its launch in April and Samantha is expected to join the sets soon to begin shooting for her portion.
Being produced by Dil Raju, the team has so far completed two brief schedules in Mauritius and Kenya. They’re currently shooting the school portion which will be wrapped up in a couple of weeks.
