Mogra Phulaalaa teaser: Swapnil Joshi is glad to have mother Neena Kulkarni’s presence

The makers of Mogra Phulaalaa have shared a couple of songs and a few posters from the film. The promotional material gave an idea that the film is about Sunil (Swapnil Joshi), a working professional who hasn’t been able to marry even after crossing 30 because of other responsibilities.

In the title song of the film, we got to know that he has been through as many as 38 prospective alliances but things did not work out with any of the women. Then Shivangi (Sai Deodhar) joins the company where Sunil works and they start getting attracted to each other.

With the teaser of the film just out, we expected it to tell us a little more about the film. However, it gives out only what we already know with just some info about Sunil’s bond with his mother when he tells her that it’s fine if he doesn’t get married because he has her in his life. It seems the strategy might be to not reveal much before the film's release.

The teaser mostly contains the title song sung melodiously by Shankar Mahadevan. Shankar has sung in a number of Marathi films before, with the most prominent being Katyar Kaljat Ghusali (2015).

Directed by Shrabani Deodhar, Mogra Phulaalaa will be released on 14 June. Watch the teaser below.
