Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is set to launch Mithun Chakraborty’s youngest son, Namashi Chakraborty, in his upcoming film, Badboy.
The film will also see the launch of Amrin Qureshi, daughter of producer Sajid Qureshi.
Santoshi is known for producing serious, hard-hitting films like Ghayal (1990), Damini (1993), Ghatak (1996), The Legend Of Bhagat Singh (2002) and Khakee (2004). But he has also helmed entertainers like Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani (2010) and Phata Poster Nikla Hero (2013).
The title Badboy indicates that this film, perhaps, belongs to the latter category.
Film analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his social media handle.

Santoshi hasn’t had a release for almost six years. His last was Phata Poster Nikla Hero, which starred Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz.
Badboy is produced by Sajid Qureshi, who has also produced Nanu Ki Jaanu (2018) and FryDay (2018) and is producing the upcoming #MeToo.
Chakraborty’s older son Mahakshay is also an actor. Making his debut as Mimoh, he has appeared in a few films like Jimmy (2008), Haunted 3D (2011) and Enemmy (2013).
