YouTuber Ketika Sharma may be cast opposite Allu Arjun in Trivikram’s film

Delhi girl Ketika Sharma, who rose to fame with her YouTube videos, is likely to be paired with Allu Arjun in an upcoming Telugu film being made by director Trivikram. While Pooja Hegde plays the leading lady, Ketika Sharma will be seen as the second lead.

Not long ago, Ketika Sharma was signed up by filmmaker Puri Jagannadh for his upcoming Telugu film Romantic, which marks her Telugu debut. The film features Puri’s son Akash Puri in the lead role.

Even before the release of Romantic, Sharma is said to have signed Trivikram’s project. The film marks the third time Trivikram and Arjun are working together after Julayi (2012) and S/o Satyamurthy (2015). Tipped to go on the floors in June, the project is rumoured to be titled Naana Nenu.

The film will also mark the return of Tabu to Telugu cinema after decades. She is believed to be playing Arjun’s mother in this family drama, which is reportedly based on the Hollywood film The Invention Of Lying (2009).

Written and directed by the team of Ricky Gervais and Matthew Robinson, the film revolved around the first human with the ability to lie in a world where people could only speak the truth.

The makers of Arjun's film are yet to confirm if it is indeed a remake or loosely based on The Invention Of Lying.

The project was first announced on New Year's eve when Arjun took to Twitter to say: “I have been waiting to announce this officially. My Next film #AA19 is with Trivikram garu. Produced by Allu Arvind & Radhakrishna garu.”
