Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur's Sadak 2 set for July 2020 release

Mahesh Bhatt's return to the directorial chair, Sadak 2 (2020), has a final release date. The film is now scheduled to release on 10 July 2020. Produced by Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios, the film marks the return of director Bhatt for the first time since Kartoos (1999). 

The release date was announced on social media by the official handle of Bhatt's home production, Vishesh Films. 

The film was initially scheduled for release on 25 March 2020, but has now been pushed to July. 

Sadak 2 is a sequel of the hit Sadak (1991), which featured Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt, Both actors are expected to make an appearance in the sequel, which will be led by Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. 

Alia Bhatt shared a picture of herself on the sets of the film as it went on the floor on Sunday. 

The film also marks the first collaboration between Mahesh Bhatt and his daughter Alia. It will also be the first time the sisters, Pooja and Alia, will be working together.

Sadak 2 (2020) will be co-produced by Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios.
