Filmmaker Abhimanyu Mukherjee is all set to direct Srabanti Chatterjee for the fifth time in his upcoming thriller Flyover. His previous films with the actress were Piya Re (2018) and Googly (2019). He has already completed shooting for two more films Hullor and Teko with the actress.
In Hullor, Srabanti will be pairing with Soham Chakraborty under Mukherjee’s direction for the third time. The film also features Darshana Banik, Om, Biswanath Basu and Kanchan Mullick. In Teko, Ritwick Chakraborty will be seen with Chatterjee for the first time on screen.
Flyover is also going to be Chatterjee’s first film after her marriage with Roshan Singh. Koel Mallick will play the protagonist in the film; Gourav Chakraborty, Ravi Shaw and Kaushik Sen will also play crucial roles in it.
In an interview with the newspaper, The Times of India, Mukherjee said, “I had a lovely time shooting this film. I have always been iffy about working with stars, who I heard, come with a certain amount of baggage. I have already worked with Srabanti and Soham before and they kind of changed my notion about stars.”
Mukherjee also specifically mentioned that Koel Mallick too, despite being a huge star, doesn’t carry a starry air when she comes to the floor, “She is extremely down to earth and amiable.” Mukherjee stated that process of deciding on the dates to release the films is on.
